When you connect your GitHub account to GitList:

  • We access your public and private repositories and profile information
  • We analyze repository content to create summaries, insights, and derivative works
  • We store processed data in our secure database indefinitely
  • We do not modify your GitHub repositories directly
  • You grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, process, modify, and create derivative works from your GitHub data

If we use Google APIs, our use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We may share your information in the following circumstances:

  • With service providers who perform services on our behalf
  • To comply with legal obligations
  • To protect our rights, privacy, safety, or property
